The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission from the retailer. You never pay more because of it — the commission comes out of the seller’s side.
Which links
Affiliate links appear mainly in our guides, pointing to marketplaces and supply
retailers such as eBay, TCGplayer, and Amazon. Every one of them carries a
rel="sponsored" attribute in the page source, which is the tag Google asks publishers
to use for paid links. Any post containing them shows a disclosure notice at the top.
How it affects what we write
It doesn’t, and here’s the specific commitment: we do not change a recommendation, a price estimate, or a grading opinion because one option pays a commission and another doesn’t. When the honest answer is “don’t buy this” or “sell it yourself instead of to us,” that’s what the guide says.
We also have an obvious commercial interest in buying collections, which is a bigger conflict than any affiliate link. We try to handle it by telling you what something is worth even when that makes it more expensive for us to buy.
